Cincinnati, also known as "The Queen City" and "Cincy" for short was America's very first true inland city, and a colorful city that still echos with history and culture of by-gone eras but also hums with new life and continues to evolve. This famous Midwestern city is a center of entertainment and tourism for places like the fabulous Khron Conservatory with over 3,500 plant species in various exhibits like the Bonsai Collection, Orchid Display, Floral Display and also the popular "Butterfly Show" where thousands of butterflies are released for the enjoyment of young and old.
Cincinnati real estate also places buyers and residents within easy reach of The Great American Ball park where Cincinnati Red's fans don their home team colors and enjoy favorite ball park treats while they cheer the Reds on to a hopeful victory, and the fireworks are always a hoot. If you're more of a football fan, you can put on your best orange and black for a thundering good time at the Paul Brown Stadium and show the Bengals your team spirit. The local attractions support tourism, and with many large employers in the area like Proctor and Gamble, it's a great place for real estate investing.
Don't forget one of the finest public Zoo's in the country, the Cincinnati Zoo is always changing up exhibitions and hosts fun events. Fountain Square downtown Cincinnati is a center around which many festival and public events are held each year including festivals like "Oktoberfest", or "A Taste of Cincinnati" and "The Goetta Festival", all three of which offer music, fun activities and delicious treats from local vendors and market places. There's always something going on in Cincy.
As if that's not enough, the shopping opportunities and places to dine offer amazing variety. Indeed, you can also skip across the Ohio River, even walk across on the Purple People Bridge, and discover more at Newport on the Levy, in Newport Kentucky. Here you can dine seasonally on outdoor patio settings with spectacular views of The Queen City's skyline, watch fireworks, listen to live music and watch paddle boats on the river as Cincinnati's city lights wink on as the sun sets.
