One Small Deed For Mankind
In a world dominated by Amazon reviews and Angie’s Listers positive and negative reviews can speak volumes to consumers. When was the last time you've written a review for a product you have purchased? Or even better a business or person in the service industry? How fantastic does it feel in the workplace to hear the words, “job well done?” Negative reviews are a dime a dozen, next time you have a good experience with a service member or exemplary service from a business, spare those precious moments and write a short and sweet review.
Misery Loves Company
At some point in our lives, we have all plead guilty to negative over-indulgence. Whether in a group setting, dogging a specific person or feeding someone else’s negative point of view, no matter how saintly some may appear outwardly, it is a practice we have all been a part of. Misery truly loves company. Human nature tends to feed the negative more than the positive, knowing that others are down and out when you are down and out yourself certainly may offer some comfort. Maybe it won’t be easy to find that ledge of positive thinking and not delve into the depths of negativity but it may not hurt to give it a spin.
Feel The Tide Turning
Consider your positivity footprint. Imagine if everyone began to make one conscious positive act daily. That positive review mentioned above…take the time to put it into action. Your Realtor, as a self-employed individual will relish in a moment of small positive feedback and believe it or not may make or break the odds with their next potential client. Most everyone loves to be recognized and positive recognition can easily make someone’s day, week month or even year! Smile often, compliment much, not only will you make someone else’s day but those positive vibes will slowly turn your own tide toward the path of positivity. One of my favorite email taglines comes from our own Marty Snyder. Marty’s “Make It a Great Day” tag is a constant reminder that YOU have the power to make each and every day of your life great. Why not spread the love?
