Insurance Adjuster gets Squirrelly

According to one Insurance adjuster a squirrel is considered a rodent and they denied my clients claim from damage to the living room picture window and wooden window sill done by a intruding squirrel while on vacation 3 years ago. This story was discussed on The Rock & Roll Real Estate Hour last Saturday morning at 9am on 1480 WDJO AM radio. My client...we will call them Dana & Dean for now was told if it were a raccoon they would cover the almost $3,000.00 of damages the squirrel caused.

Now its an issue because Dana & Dean want me to put their home on the market to sell. Best price will not happen while this damage is out standing in the living room. The Musical Insurance Guy Gary Rasmussen says there is no statue of Limitations to these contraversial claims and my clients should call the Ohio Department of Insurance (https://www.insurance.ohio.gov/Pages/default.aspx) and file a complaint to get these damages covered regardless of squirrel vs Raccoon.

To hear this or many other stories like it go to the podcast's of The Rock & Roll Real Estate Hour  http://www.pricelinehomes.com/cincinnati-real-estate-hour.php. Or tune in each Saturday morning at 9:00 am on 1480 WDJO AM radio. You'll hear compelling discussions, Neighborhood news and fun with Music.

You don't want to miss this week Saturday May 3, 2014. Gary will be host to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Professional Realty's principal owner Mr. David Mussari. Also past president of the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors, chair of the Professional Standards committee and Senior Vice President of Comey & Shepherd Realtor Karen Schlosser.

It's all a big racket to make money, not offer a service with real or tangible value.

Love your radio show, the topics and speakers you procure for Saturdays are always spot on with insights and useful information for Realtors, buyers, sellers and investors. Groovy tunes too!
