Real Estate Centerville 2015
It's that time of year when real estate business slows down, and I slow down and nice to have some relaxing down time too. My holiday bustle is starting to relax and wanted to take the opportunity to yak a bit about Centerville, the Centerville real estate industry and homes for sale in Centerville Ohio in case you're considering buying next year (or selling).
Though the Dayton metro area might lag behind other Ohio metro areas like Columbus or Cincinnati in terms of unemployment, certain Dayton suburbs like Centerville and Beavercreek definitely held their own in 2014. Beavercreek's unemployment currently stands at 4.3%, definitely better than state and national averages, and Centerville's unemployment currently stands at 5.4%, while Dayton lags at 6.4%.
In suburbs like Centerville or Beavercreek, better unemployment rates combined with less inventory, fewer reported foreclosures and some renewed confidence combined with low mortgage rates have definitely helped on out, and too, seeing a nice rise in house values in general have all fueled a healthier, more stable local real estate market.
There are currently 165 homes for sale in Centerville Ohio, and some "jim-dandies". Buyers will find the homes range from comfortable, quality, affordable starting places to high end luxury properties, some near good freeway access or downtown, but also some more secluded, private sites in addition. I found 52 homes for sale in Centerville Ohio ranging from $200,000 to $300,000 and a very popular slice of market it would seem.
I won't bore you with all the statistics and jargon, but from where I stand, I believe Centerville Ohio real estate is going to enjoy a great 2015, and see more progress beyond what 2014 has brought. But why Centerville?
First of all, you might choose to live in Centerville, but there are great job markets within Centerville but also many of the connecting Dayton suburbs. Add to that, Centerville is known for its excellent schools, and you certainly can't beat the shopping! When you consider Centerville's location, strategically straddling I-675 and just east of I-75, you have fast access to much of the Dayton Metro area, and for business or special excursions; Columbus and Cincinnati.
