Butler County - Great Expectations for 2015
Butler County Ohio is home to several bustling communities and has no sign of slowing down.
According to a recent article in Money magazine, West Chester Ohio is ranked #30 as being one of the best places to live in the USA.
West Chester is not even a city which makes it even more outstanding that it even ranked at all in the Money magazine survey. West Chester is actually Ohio’s largest township! There is no traditional town square either; West Chester Twp is a sprawling community stretching its boundaries for miles.
It isn’t hard to see why the community has ranked so well either. It is very conveniently located near the huge Interstate roadway, I-75 which affords traveler’s the ability to reach deep into Florida to the south and Michigan to the north.
West Chester Twp is home to many large companies. Here are merely a few of the companies with a large presence in the township; Proctor and Gamble, BAE Systems, GE Aviation, Totes/Isotoner and Cornerstone Brands, just to name a few.
The EnterTRAINment Junction is a huge destination for families with children in addition to many train enthusiasts. The indoor complex has hundreds upon hundreds of amazing train displays and things for kids to enjoy. (it is one of my grandson’s favorite places to go)
There is no shortage of places to enjoy a fine meal, enjoy an evening at the movies or a shortage of retail shopping establishments and there’s no sign of the growth slowing down either. A few of the restaurants to enjoy a meal at might be, O’Charley’s, Mitchell’s Fish Market, Jag’s Steak and Seafood, Stone Creek and Alladin’s Eatery and Champs only to name a few, plus you have your typical choice between dozens of fast food restaurants.
Liberty Township in Butler County is another beautiful community and the landscape and topography are showing signs of big changes and a lot of dirt being moved around.
Currently, near the intersection of I-75 and Rt. 129, a huge upscale retail complex, “Liberty Center”, is already underway. The complex is scheduled to be opened in the fall of 2015 and promises to house several large establishments and entertainment options.
The regions first Kona Grill has already signed on as an anchor. The complex has also retained a Dick’s Sporting Goods Store, Dilliard’s as well as a Cheescake Factory and Brio Tuscan Grill, just to name a few. The Liberty Center is also planning a Cobb Theater’s Complex as well as a AC Marriott Hotel.
Monroe Ohio is another growing community within Butler County. Monroe hosts several large employers and more companies have announced future growth in the Monroe area, including an automobile glass manufacturing facility.
Monroe already has a huge Kohl’s E-Commerce distribution center, Home Depot Rapid Deployment Center, Xerox MCO, Deceuninck North America, Worthington Industries and is home to one of the largest Outlet Malls in the country, Cincinnati Premium Outlets.
Monroe also has not one, but two large flea markets that attract thousands of shoppers to the area each and every weekend; Trader’s World Flea Market and Treasure Aisles.
Let’s not forget about the Miami Valley Gaming Complex in nearby Turtlecreek Twp. The racino opened nearly a year ago and has already proven to be a top destination of choice for many people that want to wager a buck or two and if the slot machines aren’t your fancy, you are welcome to try your luck on the trotters and pacers at the complex as well.
As one can see, Butler County Ohio real estate is well positioned for more growth and there are no signs of it slowing down. The demand for housing continues to outpace much of the region and will take prices and rents up right along with the demand.
As an area resident, my entire life, I’d be happy to assist you with your real estate needs. Looking to buy or sell a home in the area, let me know!
