Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices - Brand Power
Last week I had the honor of attending the Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices #revolution2015 in Las Vegas. With 2015 being my maiden voyage into the world of large scale business conventions, I didn’t know what to expect. As only Berkshire Hathaway can do, the convention exceeded even my wildest imaginative dreams.
Guest spots from HGTV’s Fixer Upper stars Chip and JoJo Gaines and an announcement of a partnering sweepstakes between BHHS and Fixer Upper, #revolution2015 reached epic proportions! Entranced and inspired by speakers including, Navy SEAL Officer Eric Greitens who is more than just a pretty face. TIME Magazine named Eric as one of the “100 Most Influential People” in 2013. Eric’s ability to lead listeners down paths wrought with lessons kept us all on the edge of our seats.
Business vs. Pleasure
While conventions are often laughed off as a way for businesspeople to escape the arduous, demanding world of the professional, I can truly attest to the fact that I left this Las Vegas convention feeling more equipped than ever to not only market but truly represent the Core Values of Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices. Our Core Values range from innovation to integrity and from expertise to compassion. Few career choices are met with the demands and rewards, highs and lows of a Realtor. Collectively we are honored to assist clients on their journeys from one home to the next. Home means so much to all of us and speaks to the core of every individual in a different way. Real Estate is a calling to peel back the layers of each individual person and assist in finding what is the best match for the varying stages of life in regards to the American Dream.
Entering the famed Mirage Hotel for the first time I was awed by the sights, sounds and sensations only Vegas can bring. I ended my trip truly wowed and proud to be part of such an elite group of business minded entrepreneurs. I was admittedly teary during the unveiling of our “calling” commercial, where clients are featured receiving the all-important, “you got the house” call. Berkshire Hathaway’s #3 spot of the most admired companies in the world behind two of the world’s most recognizable powerhouses, Apple and Google, have left me with an unprecedented sense of brand commitment. Which is always..."Good To Know.”
